New members receive a warm introduction

On the 16th of February, the BBTP team hosted two introductory webinars for newcomers. The online meetings provided a low-barrier space to learn more about BBTP and how to make the most of it. 

One practical component of the webinars was a platform tutorial, where attendees could see how the tool functions from a user perspective. Among other things, attendees learned how to change their communication preferences, generate a CV based on their profile data, and find exclusive member content. 

New members were also given three main tips for making the most out of the platform:

1.  Stay connected 
   
   — Update your communication preferences in the platform and make sure BBTP emails get to your inbox
   — Check the platform homepage for exclusive content ​
   — Follow BBTP on LinkedIn and on Facebook 
   
   
2.  Be active
   
   — Attend monthly member meetings and network with your peers
   — ​Pass along leads on assignments that may benefit someone else​
   — Answer platform surveys to improve the service and to gain insights into the community​
   
   
3.  Ask for help
   
   — Feel free to contact one of our team members directly
